Crop & Split Video

One Upload, Every Vertical Format

Drop in any video and export it as a TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube Short, or Facebook Reel — auto-cropped to the right dimensions and split into shorter clips in the same pass. Runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded to a server.

Drop your video here

MP4, MOV, WebM — works best with clips under 5 minutes. Everything stays in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Built For Every Vertical Surface

TikTok

Vertical 9:16 at 1080×1920. Crops landscape footage to a TikTok-ready frame so your subject stays centered.

Instagram Reels & Stories

9:16 Reel and Story exports plus a 1:1 square option for the feed. Useful when you want one shoot to power three placements.

YouTube Shorts

Same 1080×1920 vertical canvas Shorts expects. Pick this when uploading the resulting clip directly to YouTube.

Facebook Reels

Vertical 9:16 build for Facebook Reels. Re-cuts widescreen content so it fills the mobile frame.

How It Works

1

Drop in your video

Drag a clip onto the upload box or click to choose one. Works with MP4, MOV, and WebM straight from your camera roll or desktop.

2

Pick a format and split

Choose TikTok, Reels, Shorts, or Facebook Reels, then decide whether to keep the clip whole or split it into shorter pieces.

3

Crop and download

Hit export. Each output appears in the list below with its own download button — ready to post.

When To Use This

Repurpose a long video into short clips

Got a 5-minute video? Split it into 30-second slices and export each one cropped to TikTok format. Way faster than re-editing the whole thing in a desktop tool.

Turn landscape footage vertical

Filmed in 16:9 but need it for Reels? The auto-dimensional cropper centers the subject inside a 9:16 canvas so the result is upload-ready.

One shoot, four platforms

Upload once, pick TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reel one after the other. Same source, four exports tailored to each platform.

Splitting for series content

Break a tutorial into a numbered series. Choose how many parts (or how many seconds per part) and you get a ready-to-post sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to upload the video to a server?

No. Cropping and splitting run entirely in your browser using your device's CPU. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which means privacy by default and no upload wait.

What formats can I export to?

TikTok, Instagram Reel, Instagram Story, Instagram Square, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reel (all 9:16 or 1:1) and a 16:9 YouTube Standard option. Each preset uses the resolution the platform expects.

How does the auto-dimensional crop work?

We compute the largest crop window that matches the target aspect ratio and place it in the center of the source frame. If the auto framing is off, you can switch to manual mode and nudge the horizontal and vertical position with the sliders.

Can I split AND crop at the same time?

Yes. Choose your output format, pick how you want to split (number of equal parts or fixed seconds per clip), and hit export. You'll get a list of finished clips, each cropped to the chosen format.

What output file format do I get?

We use whatever your browser supports for in-browser recording — MP4 in Safari and recent Chromium browsers, WebM elsewhere. Both play in modern players and upload to all major platforms without re-encoding.

Is there a length limit?

There's no hard cap, but processing time scales with video length because each clip is rendered in real time. A 60-second source on a 9:16 export usually takes about a minute. Heavy videos may need a desktop browser.
